Happy New Year all! Below is a new document with a range of activities for the pupils in Blwyddyn 2 to complete at home. Remember to keep an eye on this page as there will be some new activities uploaded.

Please find below resources to support the home learning document. These tasks and more can be found saved onto your child's Hwb account ready for completion. Please try your best to complete the work on Hwb as it will allow me to mark your completed tasks. If you do not have your child's Hwb details, you will find my email at the top of this page and I will reply with the details you need. Diolch and I hope to see you all very soon!

21/01/21 a 22/01/21- Rydw i a Miss Jenkins wedi darllen storïau sy’n gysylltu gyda ein thema ni sef ‘Dewch i Forio!’. Eich tasg cyntaf yw i wrando ar y storïau, dewis eich hoff un ac ysgrifennu adolygiad llyfr ar y stori hwnnw. Mae na esiamplau wedi’u atodi isod. 

Mae ‘na hefyd tasgiau Darllen a Deall i’w gwblhau isod- dewiswch y dasg fwyaf addas i chi.

Ar ddiwedd y stori Môr Ladror y Pants mae 'na 3 cwestiwn i chi ateb. Trafodwch eich atebion neu ysgrifennwch i lawr.

Miss Jenkins and I have read some exciting stories linked to our theme 'Land Ahoy'. Your first task is to listen to the stories, decide on your favourite one and write a book review on it. There is a template uploaded below to help you. Please complete the Welsh version and use the English as a guide only. 

There are also comprehension tasks for you to complete, choose the level that is best suited to you. The purpose is to read the sentence and colour in the picture using the correct colours. I have attached my voice next to the sentences so that you can read with your child.

There are 3 questions to answer at the end of the stori Môr Ladror y Pants. Discuss these questions or write them down.

Daily Morning Activity- The children are used to completing the ‘Number of the Day/ Rhif y Diwrnod’ activity every morning in school, so they should remember how to complete the task independently. They should complete one page every morning to refresh their knowledge of number work. I have attached an example translated copy for you. 

19.01.21- 20.01.21- Attached below are some Numeracy activities that will help you with your times tables. Isod mae na gweithgareddau Rhifedd i helpu gyda'ch tablau lluosi. 

Also attached below are more activities to complete at home. Watch the PowerPoint on verbs (berfau in welsh) and complete the attached worksheets (choose the ones that are most suitable to you). Both Welsh and English copies are attached but make sure you complete the Welsh copies and only use the English as a guide.

Hefyd isod mae na mwy o weithgareddau i chi wneud gartref. Gwyliwch y PwyntPwer 'Beti Berfau' a chwblhewch y taflenni waith (dewisiwch y rhai mwyaf addas i chi). Gwnewch yn siwr eich bod yn llenwi'r taflen waith gymraeg.

Look at the power point presentation on keeping safe in and around the water. Can you use this information to create a poster your own poster about the importance of water safety? Don't forget to illustrate your work. 

14/01/21- Mae’n Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen ar y 25ain o Ionawr. Darllenwch y stori gydag oedolyn a thrafodwch y digwyddiadau a’r cymeriadau. Gallwch chi greu carden Santes Dwynwen i aelod o’ch teulu? Byddwch yn greadigol. Mwynhewch!

It is Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen on the 25^th of January. Read the story below with an adult and discuss the events and the characters. Can you make a Santes Dwynwen card for a loved one? Be as creative as you can. Enjoy!

Ymarfer Corff / P.E.

Dydd Iau yw diwrnod Ymarfer Corff. Sicrhewch fod eich plentyn yn dod â chrys, tracwisg ac esgidiau ymarfer corff mewn bag yn wythnosol.

Mae'n rhaid i bob dilledyn gael ei labeli gydag enw eich plentyn os gwelwch yn dda.

P.E. day is Thursday. Please ensure that your child brings a t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers in a bag every week. Please label all items of clothing with your child's name.

Gwaith Cartref / Homework

Mae gwaith cartref yn cael ei ddanfon adref yn llyfr gwaith cartref eich plentyn ar Ddydd Gwener ac i'w ddychwelyd ar Ddydd Llun. Mae'r gwaith cartref yn seiliedig ar yr hyn mae eich plentyn wedi bod yn dysgu yn ystod yr wythnos. Bydd y gwaith cartref yn cylchdroi yn wythnosol i fod yn ddarn o waith Llythrennedd, Rhifedd neu Thema.

Homework is sent home in your child's homework book on a Friday and is to be returned on Monday. It is always linked to what your child has been learning in class that week. It will be a Literacy, Numeracy or a Theme homework each week on a rotational basis.

Llyfr Darllen / Reading Book

Mae croeso i blant fynd â llyfr darllen adref a bydd angen iddynt ddychwelyd eu llyfrau y bore trannoeth.

Reading books may be taken home every evening and should be returned to school the following day.

Ffrwyth / Fruit

Yn ddyddiol, mae croeso i blant ddod â darn o ffrwyth i'r ysgol i fwyta yn ystod egwyl y bore.

Pupils are welcome to bring a piece of fruit to school to have during the morning break on a daily basis. 

Cysylltwch â fi neu unrhyw aelod o staff os oes gennych unrhyw gwestiynau neu bryderon am addysg a/neu lles eich plentyn.
