I hope you are all well and enjoying the activities prepared. We will now be uploading weekly maths activities.
This week we would like you to attempt the rounding activities.
Don’t worry if you can’t, just complete what you can.
I have already edited this so that you can write straight onto it.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend under the circumstances. Thank you for completing the activities on HWB. I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at them and marking them. A new grid has been prepared. There are lots of exciting activities for you to complete. I have shared a couple of maths (money) activities on HWB but you can also access them on here. Activities can either be completed on HWB or in the homework books. If possible I would prefer if you complete them on HWB so that I can mark them. I have enjoyed our learning conversations.
Please don’t feel you have to complete all of the activities. Looking forward to seeing you all very soon.
Good afternoon all. Hope you are all safe and well. I have enjoyed looking at the completed work so far. On HWB I have now shared a grammar activity. Please feel no pressure in completing the tasks. Remember that if there is something that cannot be completed just move onto the next one. You can always contact me via the 'Learning conversation' speech bubbles on the documents on HWB. It has been lovely to have 'conversations' with you and the children already! Stay Safe all.
Mrs Rees-Davies xx
Good afternoon all.
It has been lovely to see children completed their tasks from the Predator Homework Grid on their HWB. I have been able to make comments and this has enabled me to have a 'learning conversation' with the children who have done this. We have attached instructions on accessing HWB here, on our website. I look forward to seeing more completed tasks and making comments. Take care all.....

Thank you for taking the time to visit our class page. We hope that you like what you see.
On this page, you will be able to view some of the work that the children have done and what we are going to do. The children are working exceptionally hard so far this year. We are very proud of them.
Please ensure that children bring their reading books and yellow reading record books to school every day. Pupils are encouraged to read at home to an adult on a regular basis. Reading is an integral part of education so here at PenRhos so we try to read as often as possible. That is listen to the children reading AND read to them.
P.E. will take place every Wednesday therefore please would you ensure that your child brings gym kit to school on this day. Kit is a T-shirt and shorts/tracksuit trousers and trainers or black pumps. For your child’s safety, no jewellery is to be worn, and long hair should be tied back. Your child will change back into uniform after the lesson.
Homework is given on Monday to be returned to school by Friday to be marked. On occasions extra or different work is given in line with class theme.
We usually have spelling tests on a Monday and Mental maths tests. I would be extremely grateful if you could help your child go over their times tables (2x 3x 4x 5x 10x for this term).
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s work and/or wellbeing at school please do not hesitate to contact me. Diolch!
