First Aid and Administering of Medicines

The School adheres to the latest All Wales Infection Prevention & Control Guidance in relation to administering both First Aid and Medicines to pupils at the school. This can be found below:

First Aid

• Several members of staff are trained to provide children with First Aid. 
• First Aid kits are easily accessible around the school and are well stocked.
• Staff will adhere to the relevant guidance when administering First Aid - This includes the use of PPE
• Any First Aid provided to a child will be communicated back to the parent either via a telephone call or an accident/ incident form. 

Administering Medication

If you wish for your child to be administered any of form of medication, a medication form of consent must be completed first. Forms are available from the office or at the link below. 

Please note all medication must be: 

• In original packaging
• Within it's "use-by" date
• If prescribed, have the child's name on the label
