Birmingham 2022 is staging the 16th official Queen’s Baton Relay – an epic journey across the Commonwealth, with The Queen’s Baton visiting all 72 nations and territories

 

We are excited to announce that on 1^st July 2022, the baton makes its way to Carmarthenshire.

 

The baton will arrive in Pembrey Country Park around 2pm at the Ski & Activity Centre.  The baton will then make its journey over to Burry Port by sea and then continue along the Millennium Coastal Park to North Dock in Llanelli where it comes to the end of its journey in Carmarthenshire.

 

The baton will arrive at North Dock, Llanelli, at approx. 4.15pm where a variety of FREE and fun activities are planned for both children and adults between 4.30pm – 7.00pm, including an Aquathlon (ages 8 – 11), Outdoor Spin Classes (age 14+), DanceFit sessions (age 11+), AQUA STAND UP® FITNESS (age 14+), and Stand Up Paddleboarding (age 11+).
