Useful Information

P.E. and Forest Schools

Our P.E. and Forest School lessons take place on a Friday afternoon. Please ensure that your child comes to school in their P.E. kit so they are able to fully take part. A coat and old shoes/wellies are required for Forest Schools as these lessons take place outside in all weather conditions.

Toast

Pupils have the option of having toast in school every morning for 20p a day. Please bring £1 in on a Monday. Pupils are also allowed to bring in fruit to eat at play time.

Home-School Folders

Each pupil has been given a home-school folder that they are now responsible for. We would be very grateful if you could read at home with your child and fill out their reading record book as often as possible. They will then be given a new book to take home.

Spellings

Pupils will be given a list of words to learn on a Monday ready for a spelling test on a Friday. These words will be linked to the learning that week so it would be beneficial if they learn them.

Music Lessons

Year 5 pupils have the option to take part in guitar (Monday), violin (Thursday) and recorder (Thursday) lessons every week.
