Maths - Handling Data - The Mode

Good morning :)
Last week we learnt that when looking at data we found out we can find the mean, mode, median and range and we paid close attention to the mean.
Well today i'd like you to look at the 'Mode'.

In a group of data numbers - the 'Mode' is the number you see the most.. the most popular number.

In his last 6 games Christiano Ronaldo has scored:
2 goals, 4 goals, 3 goals, 1 goal 3 goals and 3 goals - If you look there are three lot's of 3 goals so because 3 is the most popular we call this the mode. Mode - 3

YOU CAN SOMETIMES HAVE MORE THAN 1 MODE IN A SET OF DATA.

Tasks:
1 - Watch the BBC Bitesize video again to refresh your memory, this time look at the mode.
2 -  Read the PowerPoint
3 - Try the challenges

4 - Try the short extended challenges

Good luck :)
